NORTH
VALLEY HEALTH
EDUCATION FOUNDATION 1354 East Avenue, Suite R, PMB 377, Chico, CA 95926-7385
Founded in 1973 ~ A Non-Profit Organization
The North Valley Health Education Foundation,
established in 1973, educates people about health-related
issues and financially supports students involved in the health
sciences. It is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization eligible
to receive tax-deductible gifts.
We maintain and
expand several health-oriented programs. Through health fairs,
speakers and other activities, we educate the public about
their own health so they can lead longer and healthier lives.
We were the leader in establishing a fund to provide medical
equipment to home-bound patients with limited funds. We also
began Kids on the Block, a puppet program that taught school-aged
children about children with disabilities.
Our
Mission
Help people with
financial need become contributing members of society. Our
hope is that our investment in these medical students will
benefit the communities they choose to serve.
